The purpose of Byggmästarens new website is to attract investors and provide the necessary information about the company to the market.

Challenge

Byggmästaren is a company rooted in tradition. They wanted to convey experience and history with being a modern and forward-thinking investment company. A complete rebrand was needed in which the website would be the main window to the investors.

Byggmästaren faced three main challenges:

  • Brand Perception: They needed to bridge their traditional roots with a modern, forward-thinking image to appeal to a new generation of investors.

  • Structure: We needed to favor easy navigation to attract potential investors, highlighting Byggmästarens successes and to follow regulations for the stock market.
  • Information Management: The CFO spent significant time manually updating investment data each month, creating inefficiencies.

Strategy

Working closely with a graphic designer, we developed new brand guidelines that balanced tradition and innovation – keeping a serious, professional tone while using modern design elements like clean layouts, intuitive navigation, and high-contrast typography.

We also conducted interviews with current investors, portfolio companies and employees at Byggmästaren to better understand what information is important and how new investors are recruited. We knew that investor trust relies on professional, credible visuals, and that first impressions heavily impact perceived reliability.

We also created a website structure where data is presented in a funnel. Based on stakeholder interviews and best practices for information architecture, we assumed a ”progressive disclosure” model would serve diverse user needs, from casual browsers to detail-oriented investors. So that the company’s progress is easily accessible and makes both the website and the company feel more dynamic, and a deep-dive is possible for whoever needs it.

Tools

The prototype was created using Figma.

The website was developed using Elementor for WordPress to keep the project cost-efficient and to make future editing easy for the client.

Modular Finance Datablocks was integrated into the site to automate financial data updates, removing the need for manual input by the CFO.

Result
